What, How, and Why

What happens when we’re curious about something? Usually, we look for an explanation, something that gives us information we don’t currently have. Most searches online will give us a little bit of information, but it's up to us to put it together with what we already know and hope that we have enough pieces to get a sense of the puzzle.

If we’re lucky, we find something that goes beyond a simple definition or description to an explanation. Explanations combine the what, how, and why of a concept, turning it into something that is easier to understand.

Good explanations make things so much easier to understand. If there is specialized jargon or we assume the user knows more than they do, an explanation doesn't make sense.

The world needs better and more useful explanations. Let's get to it.
